We are God’s creatures, created to reach full hapiness and eternal glory in Him (Jn 3, 16). In fact, this is his promise and we, as catholic, in our hope, we trust Him. The bible shows us that God always fulfil its promises, ALWAYS… however, what it is happening very often is that he uses methods and paths that are out of the scope of our limited vision due to our smallness.
I do believe that one of the most common sins in our current culture, and personally it happens to me all the time, is not allowing God to be God: try to judge or “wait” him under our human criteria instead of keeping us open to his greatness. This design reminds us that we are wrong. He never fails. He has promised it to us and He will fulfill it.
The incarnation in the Virgin Mary (left) remind us that God fulfilled its promise with the Hebrew people giving them a Messiah from the offspring from David, via Jose but incarnating (covering as suggested in the design) a young female from Nazaret. The blue color of humanity starts to incubate the red color of the divinity.
In the middle, the resurrection of Jesus Christ reminds us that God left his son be killed and, at the third day, he rise him from the death (he is elevated as suggested in the design) as the Lord had already announced some days before (Jn 2,19). In this case, the red color of the divinity accepts with humility becoming human (blue color) and even pass through the death.
Finally, the advent of the holy spirit (right) reminds us that God is still today with us, empowering us in our life. We acknowledge to the holy spirit the capacity to transform the disciples, from being afraid and scattered to be fully committed even with their own life to extend the gospel of Jesus Christ all over the world, but also to be able to maintain the catholic faith live until today, with around a thousand million catholics in the world.
I really hope you share with us the trust in God and that you dare to spread its word showing off proudly the designs we are proposing you.
